Tita — Cookie & Similar Technologies Notice

Tita may use cookies and other storage or access technologies in the public website and web app. These can include browser cookies, local storage, service-worker/browser storage and similar technologies.

This notice explains why they are used and how choices are handled.

For external beta, Tita should minimise non-essential tracking.

Tita does not use behavioural advertising or advertising trackers.

The final release decision will be based on the actual technologies present in the exact release candidate, not assumptions based on the word “cookie”.

Tita may use technologies that are necessary to:

• authenticate users and maintain secure sessions;
• protect accounts and service integrity;
• preserve essential privacy/security choices;
• provide the installed PWA and service-worker behaviour;
• maintain essential app state; and
• deliver a function specifically requested by the user.

Some strictly necessary technologies may not require prior consent under applicable storage/access rules, but Tita will still provide appropriate information about them.

Tita may use bounded analytics or statistical measurement to understand reliability, activation and service use.

Where a technology stores or accesses information on a device, Tita will classify the purpose and applicable legal rule before activation.

In the United Kingdom, certain statistical-purpose uses may qualify for a statutory exception where the required conditions are met, including transparency and an easy way to object. Other non-essential technologies may require consent before activation.

Tita will not describe an analytics technology as exempt merely because it is labelled “analytics”.

Tita is a web app and may use browser storage, IndexedDB, cache storage and service-worker mechanisms for app functionality, offline/local durability and PWA operation.

These mechanisms can contain very different types of information. Their privacy treatment depends on purpose and implementation.

Mutable household data is governed by Tita’s product data/storage architecture rather than treated as ordinary marketing-site tracking.

Web Push requires browser/device subscription information and service-worker handling. Push subscription state is used to provide notifications the user has enabled and to manage subscription lifecycle and delivery.

Push is not used for behavioural advertising.

The exact inventory must be completed immediately before publication and whenever the technology set materially changes.

For each technology the inventory records its type (cookie, local storage, IndexedDB, service worker, SDK or other), its classification (strictly necessary, statistical exception, consent required or other) and the applicable choice control (none required, consent, objection, or a browser/device setting).

Where consent is required, Tita will not activate the relevant technology before valid consent.

Where an applicable exception permits use subject to an objection right, Tita will provide the required information and an easy way to object.

You can also control some browser storage through browser/device settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent parts of Tita from working.
